ROAD SAFETY IN OMAN

Road accidents are very rampant even in Oman which is small in size with less population..From time to time there have been various campaigns organised by several organisation in Oman which focus on Road Safety.Inspite of these initiatives, road accidents continue to be on the rise.

Recently there have been many campaigns which include picture presenations of damaged cars..but the most recent one is the formation of the Road Safety Association which aims at creating awareness among the people and implementing new laws for the safety on roads

WHAT IS "ROAD $AFETY"??

Road Safety is a way through which we can keep ourselves safe and can ensure the safety of the other Drivers.
Life is precious, you get it only once..and its not worth wasting it by a careless accident!..On the roads..we have to remember that apart from our safety,we are responsible about the safety of others .Lets think about it..is reaching a place on time more important than your life??Would you want to lose something so precious because of a moment of distraction?

We, the participants at the First Muscat Youth Summit debated and discussed about alot of topics but unanimously agreed on the fact that Road Safety is a topic that needs immediate attention.
Road Safety are the words we are familiar with..but havn't yet realize their significance and until we don't acknowledge it..million will turn victims to it!
